About Us

Roseings was launched in July 2020 in the midst of a pandemic, I was 21 weeks pregnant with my second child and had a rambunctious toddler in tow. The timing may have seemed unwise (read: quite frankly bonkers!) but looking around I believed I could add a little sparkle to those dark times.

My vision was to not only design and handcraft gorgeous products, but to create a company that had a voice and wasn't afraid to use it. Roseings is a socially conscious fashion company, committed to meaningful self-empowerment and racial equality.
We believe that everyone deserves to shine and we encourage our Roseings queens to #crownthemselves and 'stand taller, straighter, prouder'.
Many of our customers have embraced our ethos and, as we do, see headbands as more than an aesthetic and practical accessory but as a symbol of empowerment.

Since our launch we have been featured in an abundance of press articles including Stylist Magazine, The Times, The Sunday Times Style, The Financial Times and The New York Times. We have been seen on the heads of many a celebrity (including an Oscar-winning movie star and a couple of members of the royal family) and are regularly seen on popular shows such as Glow Up, CNN, Good Morning Britain and This Morning, all in appreciation of this ascending accessory and it's crowning touch.

Starting out, making headbands at my kitchen table, little did I realise the insight I would get into women's lives across the globe.

Headbands are often the crown we wear when we mark an occasion or need a lift. Celebrating new beginnings, like baptisms or weddings and being in remission from life-changing illness. Battling debilitating conditions, overcoming operations and procedures, and getting out of bed when life has pushed you beyond breaking point. Celebrating milestones like birthdays, and receiving MBE's (yes, we have had a few!) or marking with dignity the memorials and funerals of those dear to your heart.

Whatever life has thrown at you, you have lifted your chin and straightened your crown.

The stories you have shared with us and the bravery you show every day is truly an inspiration and we are honoured to witness your strength.

Reflecting on our journey so far, I am so proud and wanted to thank you all for your support. These last few years have been full of challenges for so many, but I feel an overwhelming sense of hope for the future and as we step forward, Roseings holds fast in the belief that no matter the circumstance, no matter where we come from, everybody deserves to shine.

Keep fighting, keep smiling and stay hopeful.
